V-League”s disciplinary board banned defending champions Gach Dong Tam-Long An”s technical director, Henrique Calisto, for two games on Thursday for bad behaviour involving a referee during last Saturday”s match.

V-League”s disciplinary board banned defending champions Gach Dong Tam-Long An”s technical director, Henrique Calisto, for two games on Thursday for bad behaviour involving a referee during last Saturday”s match.

The director aggressed referee, Tran Khanh Hung, after he made a call to refuse Long An”s Antonio Dos Santos” offside goal.

Calisto also lashed out at other assistants during the match Long An eventually won over Southern Steel-Sai Gon Port, 4-3.

The disciplinary board also fined the Long An Stadium competition board VND10 million (US$600) for improperly controlling rowdy spectators who hurled objects onto the field to protest the referee”s decision during the same match. – VNS
