Việt Nam in difficult group at regional U19 champs
Hosts Việt Nam are in Group B in the ASEAN U19 Football Championship which will be played between August 5-18.

The team is in the same pool with Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Singapore and Cambodia.
Malaysia are the defending champion, Thailand have won here for five times while it is four times for Australia.
Việt Nam won the title once 11 years ago.
Việt Nam will face Malaysia in the first match on August 6 in Hà Nội.
Group A includes Myanmar, Indonesia, the Philippines, Laos, Brunei and East Timor.
Myanmar won in 2003 and 2005 and Indonesia triumphed in 2013. The rest have never advanced to the final.
