National Cup gets solid banking

Vinakansai cement are sponsoring National Cup 2008 for the third consecutive year and have pledged to sponsor the tournament the following year as well. 

There are 28 teams, including 14 from the V-League and 13 from the First Division, competing in the Cup, which kicks off on December 29. 

The winning team will receive 250 million VND ( 15,500 USD) and will qualify for the Super Cup tie with the V-League 2008 champions. 

The runners-up will win 125 million VND while the third placed team gets 50 million VND.
