Defending champions Binh Duong on March 7 suffered ancrushing 3-0 defeat in their match against Dong Tam Long An, one of the two early matches of the eighth round of V-League 2008.

Hosts Binh Duong gave Dong Tam Long An a competitive match, however they wasted many opportunities. In an attack in the 36th minute, captain Phan Van Tai Em jumped highest and scored a strong headergiving Dong Tam Long An the lead.
