Beneficiaries include the two teams’ friendlies hosted in Vietnam, with the VFF holding the advertising and marketing rights during these matches.
Under the contract, Yanmar will have its advertising panels arranged at stadiums and in meeting rooms of the national teams’ clashes while its logo will be on tickets and the players’ training jerseys.
VFF Vice President Tran Quoc Tuan hailed the signing as important to the development of Vietnamese football. The contract will contribute to tightening and boosting co-operative relations between the two countries’ football leagues in many fields, he said.
Yanmar’s representative Ken Araki affirmed that the company is willing to create favourable conditions for the Vietnam men’s national and Olympic teams to train at Japan’s Cerazo – Osaka football club.
Yanmar is currently an official global partner of Manchester United FC. The company recently launched a Vietnam agriculture research institute in Can Tho city and worked with Nha Trang University’s marine research institute to implement a project to modernise tuna fishing ships and improve tuna preservation.
