Dong Tam Long An suffer heavy 4-0 AFC Champions League defeat

Han Peng scored twice for China Super League champions Shandong Luneng. Wang Yongpo and Li Jinyu were also on the scoresheet for the Chinese hosts.
Skipper Phan Van Giau of Dong Tam Long An was sent off four minutes from time as Dong Tam Long An were reduced to ten men.
Shandong Luneng dominated the game from kick off but they had to struggle past Dong Tam Long An”s giant Brazilian goalkeeper Fabio Dos Santos. The hosts having to wait until the 42nd minute to break the deadlock.
Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Zivkovic lofted a through ball to Cui Peng, who cut the ball back to the centre for an unmarked Han Peng to slot home an easy opener.
Han doubled the lead for the hosts seven minutes into the second half. Cui Peng”s cross found Li Jinyu”s head, who forced an excellent save out of Santos. The resulting rebound went to Han, who planted his header past a pair of Dong Tam Long An”s defenders on the line.
Wang fired home the third, taking advantage of confusion in Dong Tam Long An”s box after being fed by Li, two minutes later.
Li, who set two goals in the match, scored himself the fourth, heading home Zivkovic”s corner on 74 minutes.
Tshamala Kabanga came closest to scoring a consolation goal for Dong Tam Long An, forcing a good save out of Shandong Luneng”s goalkeeper Li Leilei in injury time.
Dong Tam Long An ended their third AFC Champions League match with only ten men after Phan Van Giau was sent off four minutes from time.
It was the third defeat for the Vietnamese champions at the AFC Champions League. Earlier, they lost 4-1 to Korean League champions Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (away) and 2-0 to Australia Adelaide United.
Having failed to earn a single point from their three outings, Dong Tam Long An now rock bottom of Group G and have almost been eliminated from the AFC Champions League.
