Quang Ninh Coal continued their impressive run in the national football division 1, remaining top of the table after a 4-1 victory over Tien Giang.
Goals by Tuan Anh and Samson, plus an own goal by Quoc Thinh, helped Quang Ninh Coal to their third consecutive victory.
Elsewhere in Ho Chi Minh City, Vinakansai Ninh Binh ran rampant to beat their hosts Da My Nghe Saigon 6-0.
Quang Ninh Coal have surprised many experts, who expected them to struggle since the start of the season, by occupying the top spot in the division in recent weeks.
However, Quang Ninh Coal have proven they deserve their position with their impressive run.
Hosting Tien Giang, Quang Ninh Coal had to wait for 40 minutes to break the deadlock when Tuan Anh heading home the opener. Two minutes into the second half, Samson extended the lead for the host with a powerful strike from 30 metres. Tuan Anh scored his second goal before Yuthajak pulled back a goal for Tien Giang.

Quoc Thinh found his own net to help Quang Ninh Coal win 4-1, continuing to top the table with a total of 21 points after ten weeks.
Elsewhere in Ho Chi Minh City, Vinakansai Ninh Binh outplayed their hosts Da My Nghe Saigon, trouncing them to a 6-0 heavy defeat.
Van Quy scored a hat-trick for the visitors, while Carlos Rodrigues, Phan Thanh Tuan and Truong Van Tam also found the net.

The victory put Vinakansai Ninh Binh on the eight spots with a total of 13 points.
In Haiphong, the hosts Van Hoa Haiphong seemed to be experiencing a mini-crisis, when they lost 2-0 to Military Region Five. This was the third game without a win by Van Hoa Haiphong, who are considered for possible favourites to win promotion.
Hung Son scored a brace for Military Region Five, who moved to the seventh spot in the table.
Another favourite, The Cong Viettel continued their pressure on Quang Ninh Coal, standing neck-and-neck with the division leaders, after a 1-0 victory over Tay Ninh.
Trinh Quang Vinh, who was currently top scorer for The Cong Viettel, scored the winner on 40 minutes.
An Giang ended their poor run of two defeats with a 3-0 victory over bottom-placed Quang Nam with goals by Duc Hoa, Nhat Truong and Cong Danh. The victory earned An Giang the fourth place in the table with a total of 17 points.
