The Vietnam Women”s U18 Football Tournament will take place in northern Ha Tay province from August 18-28 with the participation of host Ha Tay, Vietnam Coal and Minerals, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Ha Nam and Ho Chi Minh City.
This is the annual event held by the Vietnam Football Federation to seek talented female footballers for local teams as well as the national squad.
The tournament will apply the rule of seven players issued by the National Committee for Sports in 2001. Teams will compete in a round robin.
Results of the opening matches on August 18:
Vietnam Coal and Minerals – Ho Chi Minh City: 1-2
Ha Tay – Thai Nguyen:2-0
Hanoi – Ha Nam: 0-2
