The men”s and women”s national football squads may be sent to drill in the Republic of Korea if assistance from the RoK Government is granted.
On May 22, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) transferred the drill plan to the RoK Embassy in Hanoi. Kim Sang Ug, Director of the RoK Culture Centre under the RoK Embassy promised to transfer the plan to RoK in a timely fashion.
If the plan is approved, the RoK will sponsor a trip for the Vietnamese squads, although they will not cover airfares.
The tentative schedule sees the women”s squad off to RoK from June 15-29 as a preparation for the Asian Women”s Football Championship in Australia from July 19-29. The men”s team will drill from October 1-12.
