AKA sponsors Ha Tay women"s team
The Hoa Hop Cosmetic Company (AKA) has become an official sponsor for the Ha Tay women"s football team providing a total of VND 150 million.
At a recent press conference to introduce sponsors for the team, in addition to AKA, other sponsors include the Ha Tay Pharmaceutical Joint stock Company, the Ha Tay branch of the Global Insurance Company, the Ha Tay branch of the Bao Minh Insurance Company, the Ha Tay branch of the Bao Viet Group, the Ha Tay branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, the Ha Tay Life Insurance Company, presented VND 108 million for the Ha Tay women”s team.
Addressing the press conference, Do Trung Hoa, director of AKA, expressed his delight in making a contribution to the development of Ha Tay women”s football.
In recent years, women”s football has become the pride of Ha Tay province. The province”s team has won three bronze, three silver and one gold medal in nine years. In 2006, the team did a double, winning the title of the national championship and the gold medal at the 2006 National Sports Games.
To that end, Ha Tay has paid careful attention to developing young talents in its districts. Now, the province has eight training class with around 200 players, who will strive to gain promotion to the senior team in the future.
In 2007, Ha Tay has set a target of retaining their title at the national championship.
Also on this occasion, the Ha Tay Department of Physical Education and Sports launched the third Ha Tay Open contest, sponsored by AKA.
Featuring four teams, Ha Nam, Cua Ong Coal, Thai Nguyen and Ha Tay, the tournament will take place from May 3-10.
