Under-16s lose 4-0 in final match

The Vietnam under-16 team finished their Asian qualifying round with a 4-0 defeat to Japan. 

The under-16s failed to earn a victory at the tournament. They drew with Cambodia and Hong Kong and lost three games to Laos, Indonesia and Japan.

In the match against Japan, Vietnam went down to ten men after 25 minutes after fullback Ngoc Quy was sent off.

Therefore, it was no surprise when they suffered a 4-0 defeat to the strongest team in their group.
