The 12th Vietnam Gold Ball Awards selection, sponsored by the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, was launched on January 12
The 12th Vietnam Gold Ball Awards selection, sponsored by the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, was launched on January 12.
The organising board sent ballots to sports writers and football experts throughout the country and they will receive the votes back till January 20.
The awards ceremony will be held in HCM City in early March to honour the best football players of Vietnam in 2007.
The Gold Ball Awards winner will receive a gold cup and VND20 million while the second and the third winners will gain the Silver and Bronze cups and VND15 and VND10 million respectively.
The bonus for female players will be Gold, Silver and Bronze cups and VND15, VND10 and VND7 million, respectively.
The Best Young Player and The Best Foreign Player will receive VND7 million each.
