Le Hung Dung, Vice President of VFF said “VFF is delighted to kick start 2009 with Nike as our partner. Coming off a very successful season, we are pleased that Nike is committed to investing in football in Vietnam and are confident that this strategic alliance will bring local football to new heights. We will leverage the brand’s trong affiliation with global football to as we continue to enhance the team’s performance for future success”.
Sharon Ong, Marketing Director of Nike in Southeas Asia said “ This partnership is borne from Nike’s passion for football which has yielded years of valuable experience in inspiring, developing and promoting the sport. It underscores our committed efforts to develop local football, support youth development in the sport and help instil a winning culture of performance and success. So aligned with this focus, a partnership with VFF, who recently walked away with the AFF Suzuki Cup Championship, is a natural progression for us in the region”.
Vietnam national football teams will use Nike products for training and all competitions certified by VFF during 5 – year period.
