French coach Grachen Guillaume has been chosen to lead the U19 Vietnam football team to the coming Southeast Asian tournament.
French coach Grachen Guillaume has been chosen to lead the U19 Vietnam football team to the coming Southeast Asian tournament.
He has had six years of experience in training young footballers at HAGL-Arsenal JMG who recently beat U18 Arsenal 1-0 in London.
Guillaume has selected 33 young players, including 16 from HAGL-Arsenal JMG to train for the 2013 U19 Southeast Asian Football Championship. Among them are Xuan Truong, Cong Phuong, Dong Trieu and Tuan Anh.
He will later have 24 players short-listed for professional training.
In the coming Southeast Asian tournament, Vietnam joins group A with Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
Group B consists of the Philippines, Australia, East Timor, Singapore and Cambodia.
