Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien praised the Vietnam Women Team who has just got the chance to join in the play-off of the Final Qualifying Round of Olympic Tokyo 2020.
On the evening of 6th Feb, Vietnam Women Team won 1-0 against Myanmar to keep the dream of Olympic 2020. After that, the Minister of Culture, Sport, and Tourism who also is the President of the Vietnamese Olympic Committee Nguyen Ngoc Thien sent a message to praise the team.
In the letter, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien congratulate head coach Mai Duc Chung and the members of the team for the victory over Myanmar. He understood that to get this victory the team had to get over from many difficulties including the lack of force and the low temperature. Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien wished the team good health to play in the final match with Korea as well as the upcoming 2 play-off matches in March.
The encouragement of Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien will be a great motivation for the team in the next matches.
