Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020: Thái Sơn Nam won the Cup for the 2nd time

Savinest Sanatech Khánh Hòa (red) couldn’t protect the championship

Had 2 goals first by Khổng Đình Hùng and Phan Khắc Chí, but Savinest Sanatech Khánh Hòa couldn’t protect the advantage. Lý Đăng Hưng and Nguyễn Anh Duy had the goal for Thái Sơn Nam.

The drama happened at the end of the first half when goalkeeper Hoàng Anh made a mistake, Thịnh Phát took the chance and had the goal for Thái Sơn Nam. However, 10 seconds before the end of the first half, Văn Quý fouled and got a red card, Trọng Luân succeeded with a penalty to had a goal down for Savinest Sanatech Khánh Hòa.

In the second half, there weren’t more goals and the result needed to be decided by the penalty at 6m. Finally, Thái Sơn Nam won 5-4 to won both the National Championship and Nation Cup 2020.

At the 3rd place match, Sahako won 1-0 over Quảng Nam by the goal of Lưu Nhất Tiến. Thái Sơn Bắc finished at 5th place while defeating Kardiachain Sài Gòn 2-1. Meanwhile, host Hưng Gia Khang Dak Lak won 4-3 over Cao Bằng at the penalty 6m.
