Acecook Vietnam announced as sponsor of friendly matches between Vietnam National Team and U22 Vietnam
Acecook Vietnam is the main sponsor of friendly matches between the Vietnam National Team and U22 Vietnam. The announcement ceremony was held on the morning of Dec 15 at the VFF Office.
The delegation included Mr. Trần Quốc Tuấn – VFF Permanent Vice President; Mr. Lê Văn Thành – VFF Vice President; Mr. Lê Hoài Anh – VFF General Secretary; and members of VFF Executive Committee in Hanoi. On behalf of the sponsor, there were Mr. Kaneda Hiroki – COM; and Mr. Fumihiro Majima – CCO. On behalf of the national team, there were head coach Park Hang-seo and players Que Ngoc Hai, Nguyen Cong Phuong, and Do Hung Dung. The ceremony also has the attending of sponsors such as Hung Thinh Co.; Dentsu Sports Vietnam; and the press.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Lê Hoài Anh stated that in recent time, besides the update about the FIFA, AFC, and AFF tournaments, VFF’s leaders have guided the functional departments to cooperate with coaching assistants of the teams, asked the advice from National Coaching Committee to plan the activities.
He affirmed that: “To help the teams having more chances to practice while the international events are postponing due to the situation of Covid-19 pandemic, as well as supporting for people in Middle Vietnam and Tây Nguyên, VFF decided to organize 2 friendly matches between Vietnam National Team and U22 Vietnam on Dec 23 in Quảng Ninh and Dec 27 in Phú Thọ. All money will be used to donate for Middle Vietnam and Tây Nguyên through Vietnamese Fatherland Front”.
As a partner of Vietnamese Football, Acecook decided to sponsor for two matches. Mr. Kaneda Hiroki – CMO of Acecook Vietnam shared that this year was a hard time for not only the Vietnam National team but also the Vietnamese. Therefore, through the event of national teams, Acecook Vietnam wants to support the unlucky people who effected by floods and storms, and also hope that this event will be a good opportunity for players to prepare for the next year.
Today, Vietnam National Team has 36 players and practices at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre. Meanwhile, U22 Vietnam will gather on Dec 18.
