Vietnam Women Team plays with SEA Games 23 Former team: Challenge of speed and strength
On the afternoon of Jan 26, Vietnam Women Team had the 3rd friendly match in the training camp to prepare for SEA Games 31. In the game with former players, the team lost 4-5.
In this match, head coach Mai Duc Chung continued to use the key players. The game with former players with an average age from 30 to 41 years old was a challenge for the women team about speed and strength.
In the first 10 minutes, the raise of the game was fast. In the 15th minute, suddenly the former team had the first goal. After the goal back, the women team had some chances but Pham Hai Yen, Nguyen Thi Van, or Huynh Nhu couldn’t make the goal.
On the other hand, with the advantage of speed, the former team had the second goal in the 22nd minute. Move to the 36th minute, Pham Hai Yen had the goal down for the team.
In the second half, head coach Mai Duc Chung adjusted the line-up. In this half, Thuy Hang, Bich Thuy, and Nguyen Thi Van had 3 goals while the former team also had 3 other goals. The final score is 5-4.
