VFF Vice Permanent President Tran Quoc Tuan encourages the Women’s National Team

On the afternoon of Jul 23, VFF Vice Permanent President Tran Quoc Tuan visited and encouraged the women’s national team forward to the Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier.

On behalf of the team, head coach Mai Duc Chung updated the situation in the first week. Even the weather did not support us, the team still maintained the practicing. Coaching assistants also met and informed the mission. This time, the team has the participation of many young players.

“In the Asian Cup 2022 Qualifier, we are in Group B with opponents from West Asia. We appreciated all opponents and understood that we improved and so do they. We determined to have the best result in each match and qualify to join in the Asian Cup 2022”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung said that.

VFF Vice Permanent President Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that VFF has a detailed plan, however, because of the COVID-19 epidemic, some tasks could not work. “The upcoming mission of the women’s team is very important. The qualifier is a special qualifier when only the winner can joining in the Asian Cup 2022 to compete for the chance to join in World Cup. VFF also asked the members to keep the discipline and raise the acknowledge on the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic. VFF will work with coaching assistants to have the best preparation for the team to get ready for the important missions in the future”.

On behalf of the players, captain Huynh Nhu thanked the General Department of Physical Training and Sports and VFF for the caring and support for the team. “We promise to practice seriously, follow the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic, and play with our best to reach the expect of fans and qualify to join in the Asian Cup 2022”.
