VFF Standing Executive Committee visited Member Association
As the idea of the VFF Standing Executive Committee on strengthening the management, supporting orientation and understanding the actual operation of the member association. In October, VFF’s delegations, chaired by the Standing Committee, visited and worked with the local football association.
* Visiting Can Tho, Dong Thap Football Association
Following the program, on October 21 and October 22, VFF Vice President Cao Van Chong worked with the Dong Thap Football Association and the Can Tho Football Association. According to the report, currently the Dong Thap and Can Tho Football Association have operating structure according to the Charter and Regulations approved by the Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Home Affairs; Most of the leaders and officials work part-time, there is a lack of office space as well as working equipment, especially operating funds, which makes the organization of grassroots activities was in trouble. Despite the difficulties, the leaders said that they always receive the attention of the provincial leaders and the departments and agencies, so all are determined to operate effectively and contribute to the development of local football in particular and Vietnamese football in general.
At the meeting, leaders of the Dong Thap Football Association proposed to participate in the Community Football program implemented by VFF as well as host the Regional Arbitration Primary Football course… On the side of the Can Tho Football Federation, request VFF to support on professional knowledge, training equipment to be able to develop better grassroots…
Based on the opinions of the leaders of the Dong Thap and Can Tho Football Association, VFF Vice President Cao Van Chong said that VFF will continue to support the members in human resources as well as working closely to promptly grasp the situation and provide appropriate support. On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee, Vice President Cao Van Chong sent gifts from VFF to the Dong Thap Football Association and the Can Tho Football Association, 01 computer set to support the work.
* Visiting Hai Phong, Son La, Lang Son Football Association
On October 18, October 19 and October 20, the delegation of the Vietnam Football Federation, led by Vice President Le Van Thanh, worked with the member associations: Hai Phong, Son La, and Lang Son.
At the meeting, representatives of the local leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism thanked the leaders of VFF for the interest and sent a delegation to work with the member associations, showing their close attachment to the members.
Speaking at the meetings, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation Le Van Thanh acknowledged the enthusiastic efforts of the member associations in developing the grassroots level, despite facing many difficulties in terms of operating expenses, socialization, funding mobilization, human resource creation…, but all of them make efforts.
The local football associations have all recommended the VFF to support youth training, coach training, refereeing, women’s football development, support for the organization of local tournaments, etc. Vice President Le Van Thanh and the members of the delegation exchanged, consulted and noted the suggestions and will have appropriate solutions with the member associations to join hands to develop football in the localities in particular and Vietnamese football in particular.
On this occasion, on behalf of the VFF Standing Committee, Vice President Le Van Thanh sent gifts to the three associations Hai Phong, Son La and Lang Son, 01 set of computers to support their work.
* Visiting Tay Ninh, Long An Football Association
On October 13 and 14, Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Standing Member of the VFF Executive Committee and the delegation of the VFF visited and worked with the Tay Ninh and Long An Football Association.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Tay Ninh and Long An Football Association thanked the leaders of VFF for always being attentive and accompanying the member organizations. Currently, both Tay Ninh and Long An Football Association have working apparatuses according to the Charter and Regulations approved by the Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Home Affairs; Most of the leaders and officials work part-time. During the operation, the two football associations said they were facing difficulties in terms of headquarters as well as funding. However, with the attention of the Provincial People’s Committee and the leaders, who are all enthusiastic people, the activities are still effective, making contributions to the development of local football as well as Vietnamese football. At the meeting, the leaders of the Tay Ninh and Long An Football Association request VFF to support youth training, coach training, and referee training to improve professional quality.
On this occasion, on behalf of the VFF Standing Committee, Mr. Tran Anh Tu sent gifts to the associations of Long An and Tay Ninh, 01 computer to support the work.
