VFF accompanies the development of member associations
Improving operational efficiency and promoting the role of member organizations in the overall development of Vietnamese football is one of the important orientations of the VFF term VIII.
In recent years, the development steps of member associations have received great attention from the VFF. Despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the VFF has organized working delegations, chaired by a representative of the Bureau of Executive Committee, to directly visit the member that are the local associations such as Yen Bai, Quang Ninh, Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Lam Dong, Ha Giang, Son La, Hai Phong, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Long An, Dong Thap… Besides, the VFF sent delegations to attend all the Annual Congresses of the local football associations across the country.
Through these visits and working sessions, the relationship between the VFF and member organizations has increasingly strengthened, close and coordination, thereby proposing solutions to overcome difficulties in development activities of Member Organizations. With the companionship of VFF, the member organizations has made a significant contribution to the development of football in the country, especially grassroots.
According to the report of the Binh Dinh Football Associations , through the working visit of the VFF Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan (April 2021), the Binh Dinh Football associations has made a lot of efforts in maintaining football development activities in the local area; coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union to organize the provincial youth football tournament, the U13, U15 football tournament; coordinate with branches, agencies, units, districts, towns and cities to organize U19, U21 football tournaments…
The Binh Duong Football Associations cooperates with relevant departments and organizations to organize the Binh Duong New City football tournament “Becamex IDC Cup” every year, creating a great resonance with the participation of hundreds of teams. Another member organization of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vietfootball, also affirmed its position and role through the “National 7-Player Football Championship – VPL” with the third season, held in 5 regions including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho, Dak Lak to replicate the playground model across the country.
Ho Chi Minh City Football Associations (HFF) made a strong impression through many movement tournaments from futsal to grass courts, especially the school football program with a large scale throughout the city. In 2019-2020, 100% of primary schools organized the opening ceremony and practice according to HFF’s School Football Program with a total of 14,785 students (13,135 boys – 1,650 girls) and the total number of athletes participating in the final round of the School Football Festival were 2,520 students (2,168 boys and 352 girls); The junior high school block has implemented at 81 junior high schools with the result that 100% of schools have organized the opening ceremony and practice under the School Football Program with a total of 3,645 students (3,085 boys). – 560 women).
In 2020, the VFF organized a program to donate training equipment and tools to women’s football clubs across the country, in order to support the clubs in football training, improve professional quality, improve the performance of the clubs, contribute to the development of women’s football in general and the women’s national teams. Representatives of women’s football clubs thanked the VFF for always paying attention to the women’s football movement and hoped that the VFF would continue to provide practical support to women’s football clubs.
The training of AFC coaches has been effectively implemented by VFF in collaboration with AFC. During the 2018-2022 term, the VFF organized 32 training courses for coaches with C, B, A, Pro, Level 1 Futsal, Level 3 Futsal, Goalkeeper, AFC Fitness, and professional seminars. With the support of AFC in 2021, the Vietnam Football Federation has donated sports equipment worth $50,000 to the Departments of Education and Training in 5 central provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
It can be seen that the close companionship and attention of the leaders of the VFF have helped the member organizations to operate actively and effectively. This is the foundation to create stronger breakthroughs in the coming time.
