VFF celebrated AFC Women’s Football Day 2023
Morning 1st March, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the activities to celebrate the AFC Women’s Football Day 2023 was organized by the Vietnam Football Federation.

The delegation included Mr. Do Van Nhat – Member of Executive Committee, Chairman of VFF Women’s Football Committee; Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF General Secretary; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary; coaching staff and young players from teams currently competing in the 2023 U16 women’s national championship.
This is an event to celebrate the AFC Women’s Football Day to honor and encourage players of all member associations. This event has become an annual event of VFF, thereby extend the message of Fair-play, unity of young players, and improve Vietnam Women’s Football.
Sharing at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary said: “VFF is an active member of the AFC. We always participate and organize the annual AFC women’s football projects. Normally, we will hold this event in March – the month with International Women’s Day (March 8). AFC also has certain support for VFF to organize for this festival. This year, based on the funding from AFC, the VFF bought training equipment to help young Vietnamese female players practice better. I think this is a meaningful program, contributing to the development of football in the country.”
Through this activity, young female athletes from clubs/teams across the country have the opportunity to exchange skills and experience, participate in collective activities together, thereby increasing the solidarity of the Vietnam football family.
