U23 Vietnam is excited on the training ground of the World Cup champion
At 11:15 am on March 19 local time (15:15 Vietnam time), U23 Vietnam had a relaxing session on the training ground in Doha. The interesting thing that makes the players very excited is that the team’s training ground is also the training field during the World Cup 2022 of defending champion Argentina.

The biggest obstacle for team is how to soon adjust to adapt to the 4-hour time difference compared to Vietnam as well as the late game time frame at the U23 international Cup. As reported, the reason why the organisation committee chose the late time frame to hold the matches was due to coincide with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. During this holy month, Muslims only start eating after sunset.
Back to the activities of U23 Vietnam, because the players have just gone through the movement and have not yet stabilized their physical condition, coach Philippe Troussier has not been in a hurry to deploy the training plan right away. Instead, the French coach and his players just walked around, relaxed their muscles to help the whole team better adapt to the new environment. Besides, the fact that the players are also free to play “mini games” with the ball also helps bring excitement and refreshing spirit to the whole team.
Coach Philippe Troussier’s team will continue to have a training session at 5:00 pm local time (21 pm Vietnam time). This is the first professional training session of U23 Vietnam, preparing for the U23 international Cup.
