Opening the UEFA assist leagues development programmer seminar
On the morning of June 8, at the headquarters of the VFF, the opening ceremony and the first working day of the UEFA assist leagues development programmer seminar took place.
This conference is part of the UEFA Assist program organized by the European Football Federation (UEFA) in collaboration with the VFF and is considered very meaningful for supporting the improvement of the management and administration of professional tournaments for football players. with Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) as well as Vietnamese professional football clubs.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet – Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Sports Adminstration; Ms. Eva Pasquier – UEFA Director of External Relations, Mr. Larman Stuart Robert and Mr. Wilson Norman James – UEFA Assist Program Consultant; Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF General Secretary, Mr. Koshida Takeshi – VFF Technical Director; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of VPF Company; together with leaders of relevant functional departments under the Executive Board of the VFF; leaders of units under VFF and 28 representatives of 14 clubs attending V.League.
In the welcome speech, VFF General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi said that this is not the first time UEFA has given Vietnam football practical support in the journey to promote and improve the quality of football development, raising the level of national football teams for many years, under the auspices of the UEFA Assist program. “The VFF believes that this conference will bring valuable information, knowledge and experience to you, and also an opportunity to realize UEFA’s cooperation and support for Vietnamese football in particular and Asian football in general,” said Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi.
As planned, the seminar will take place in 4 days, from 8/6 to 11/6 with 8 topics related to the management, organization, administration and development of professional football tournaments. In the first working day today, the workshop will focus on the main content including: professional football club models, management and technical development for clubs.
