Leaders of VFF and VPF met to congratulate Northern sports journalists on the occasion of June 21
On the afternoon of June 20 in Hanoi, leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) held a meeting and congratulated sports journalists in the Northern region, on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2023).
The meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu – VFF Vice President; Tran Anh Tu – VFF Vice President, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF; Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of VPF and a large number of reporters and journalists working at press agencies in the North, who have been and are directly involved in working at football activities organized by VFF and VPF, thereby conveying information and vivid images about football life in the country.
On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu – Vice President thanked journalists and reporters for accompanying the development and success of Vietnamese football in the regional and international arenas. “Vietnam football is carrying out new tasks and new goals, thereby spreading good values to society. VFF will continue to closely coordinate and support reporters and journalists in recent years.
On behalf of VPF, Mr. Tran Anh Tu – VFF Vice President, Chairman of the Board of Directors sent his best wishes to reporters and journalists on the 98th anniversary of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. Mr. Tran Anh Tu also shared information about VAR’s promise to be used at the Vietnam professional football tournament in the near future. Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of VPF also provided some information on the organization of the 13th round – the decisive round to determine the group of 8 top teams as well as the 6 teams competing for relegation tickets this season.
In response to the interest of the VFF and VPF, journalists and reporters wished for the development of the country’s football, especially when Vietnam team has a new coach with new ambitions.
