AFF Men’s and Women’s Referee course
From December 19 to December 24, AFF organized a Men’s and Women’s Referee course for referees from member association in Chonburi, Thailand. Accordingly, Vietnam has 8 male referees and assistant referees and 4 female referees and assistant referees attending.
12/12/2023 11:23:25The training course is a good opportunity for Vietnamese referees (currently FIFA referees) to experience, learn, and hone their professional expertise and necessary skills to be able to apply to run domestically tournaments, and at the same time have the opportunity to be appointed by AFF to perform duties at AFF tournaments in 2024. Accordingly, referees will attend theory and practice sessions and must complete theory tests and physical fitness test to be able to be appointed to duty at AFF events during the year, notably the AFF U23 Championship and the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024.
The list of FIFA Vietnam referees and assistant referees attending the AFF Referee Course includes:
– Male referee and assistant referee: Nguyen Manh Hai (Hai Phong), Hoang Ngoc Ha (Hanoi), Le Vu Linh (Can Tho), Tran Duy Khanh (Nghe An), Truong Duc Chien (Hanoi), Nguyen Lam Minh Dang (Tra Vinh), Phan Huy Hoang (Hanoi) and Nguyen Trung Viet (Da Nang);
– Female referee and assistant referee: Bui Thi Thu Trang (Hai Phong), Le Thi Ly (Ho Chi Minh City), Ha Thi Phuong (Hai Phong) and Nguyen Thi Hang Nga (Ho Chi Minh City).
