Closing of the training course on match commissioners and referees of the 2024 national non-professional football tournament
This morning (January 5), the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) held the closing ceremony of the training course for match commissioners and referees of the 2024 national non-professional football tournaments.
The ceremony was attended by VFF General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi, VFF Deputy General Secretary Nguyen Minh Chau, Chairman of Arbitration Committee Dang Thanh Ha, members of the training organizing committee, representatives of VFF functional departments, and match commissioners and referees participate in training.
Representative of the organizing committee, Instructor- Referee Nguyen Trung Kien reported the results of the 4 days of the training class, from January 2 to January 5. Accordingly, the training class had the participation of 17 match commissioners and 91 referees. In the physical fitness test, 90/91 referees participated, of which 41/43 referees completed it (94%), 47/47 assistant referees had passing results. With the law test, 100% of tranees completed it successfully.
The organizing committee assessed that the trainees were well prepared for the training course, showed the will to progress, and made efforts to fulfill the requirements during the training class.
“We hope that referees will continue to improve, learn, and maintain practice to meet increasingly higher requirements in upcoming matches,” instructor Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation Duong Nghiep Khoi thanked the efforts of the arbitration committee and training course instructors in conveying knowledge to the trainees. At the same time, he also congratulated the commissioners and referees who completed the training course. General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi hopes that the trainees will continue to hone their skills, maintain the spirit of learning, and improve their qualifications to complete their jobs well in the coming time.
After completing the training course, commissioners and referees will be appointed to be on duty at the first tournaments in 2024 including the national U19 championship and the Vietnamese Student Youth soccer tournament.
