Although the Vietnam Futsal team had already secured a spot in the semifinals, they took the field with determination to earn all three points. With a relaxed mindset, the team, under coach Diego Giustozzi, started the match with an attacking mentality, exchanging chances back and forth with Thailand’s futsal team. However, in the third minute, during a defensive retreat, pivot Thịnh Phát made an error. He allowed a cross from the opponent to deflect off his foot, changing direction and finding the back of the net, giving the host team the lead.

The unexpected goal forced Vietnam to accelerate their play. In this fast-paced match, Thailand created several dangerous attacking opportunities. In this game, coach Diego Giustozzi brought goalkeeper Văn Tú back into the starting lineup, and the keeper made several crucial saves, preventing Vietnam from conceding further goals. A standout moment came in the 16th minute when Charoenphong unleashed a powerful long-range shot, but Văn Tú made a full stretch save to push the ball away.

With solid defense, Vietnam launched several dangerous counterattacks. Many scoring chances were created in the first half, and in the 12th minute, the team managed to equalize. From a corner kick taken by Minh Quang, Đức Hòa made a perfectly timed run to the near post, tapping the ball into the net to level the score. Earlier, Đức Hòa had missed a golden opportunity, and had he scored, the score could have been different.

In the second half, the match became more intense, with both teams engaging in aggressive tackles. The referee had to blow the whistle multiple times and even showed yellow cards to warn players for excessive fouling. Both teams continued to create several scoring opportunities, keeping the match exciting.

In the 26th minute, Peerapat fired a tricky shot, and although goalkeeper Văn Tú had his line of sight blocked, he managed to make an excellent save. Two minutes later, Vietnam responded with a powerful strike from Thái Huy, but unfortunately, the ball hit the post and went wide. Luck still wasn’t on Vietnam’s side when, in the 30th minute, a mistake by young player Đa Hải, who lost possession near Vietnam’s goal, gave Thailand the chance to counterattack. Sosawaeng took advantage of the opportunity with a well-placed diagonal shot, putting the hosts ahead 2-1.

Facing a difficult situation, Vietnam pushed forward in search of an equalizer. The pressure from Đức Hòa and his teammates on the Thai goal intensified. In the 35th minute, during a counter-attack from Vietnam’s corner kick, Thai goalkeeper Prasansat parried the ball right into the path of Công Viên, who easily tapped it into the net to level the score at 2-2. Just seconds later, Đa Hải took a diagonal shot that set up Công Viên to finish from close range, giving Vietnam a 3-2 lead.

In the final minutes, Thailand resorted to power-play, but they were unable to break through the strong defensive line of the Vietnam Futsal team. The match ended with a thrilling 3-2 victory for Vietnam.

The two semifinal matches will take place on November 8th as follows:
– Vietnam Futsal team vs. Australia (15:00)
– Host team Thailand vs. Indonesia Futsal team (18:00).
