The 7th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for the 9th Term (2022-2026)
On the afternoon of November 21, 2024, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the 7th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the VFF for the 9th Term (2022-2026) took place. The Executive Committee discussed and approved several important topics, including the plan for organizing the VFF’s 2024 Annual Congress, the report on the organization of the 2024/2025 National Professional Football Leagues and the proposed plan for 2025/2026, the report evaluating the professional work of the national football teams in 2024, and some key objectives and tasks for 2025.

Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Executive Committee: Mr. Trần Quốc Tuấn – VFF President, Mr. Trần Anh Tú – VFF Vice President, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Vũ – VFF Vice President, Mr. Nguyễn Trung Kiên – VFF Vice President, Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hội – Standing Member of the Executive Committee; members of the Executive Committee of the VFF for the 9th Term (2022-2026), the Head of the Inspection Committee, and the VFF General Secretary were called upon to report on related tasks at the meeting.
During the 11 months of 2024, the VFF Executive Committee has continued to demonstrate a spirit of responsibility and collective will, proactively developing plans and solutions to effectively address challenges and ensure the best outcomes for the development of Vietnamese football.
In his opening speech, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, Mr. Trần Quốc Tuấn – VFF President, expressed his gratitude to the VFF Executive Committee for consistently demonstrating responsibility and playing an important role in guiding, directing, and directly implementing numerous significant tasks. Through this, they have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnamese football, closely following the resolutions of the 9th Congress for the 2022-2026 term.
In 2024, Vietnamese football has achieved significant accomplishments in diplomacy, with the professional and non-professional football leagues continually improving in terms of technical quality and image. Grassroots football has also seen more positive growth and expansion. These results are a direct outcome of the proactive leadership of the Executive Committee in effectively implementing tasks in line with plans and specific objectives for each phase. However, there are still unfinished tasks, and the Executive Committee continues to analyze and find suitable solutions.
Regarding the organization of the 2024 VFF Annual Congress for the 9th Term (2022-2026), the meeting heard reports from the subcommittees under the Congress Organizing Committee. The meeting acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Organizing Committee in ensuring that all preparations for the Annual Congress will be carried out according to the proper procedures, timelines, and will meet the required objectives and tasks. The meeting also reached a consensus and approved the issues related to the organization of the 2024 VFF Annual Congress for the 9th Term.
In addition, the meeting discussed and unanimously approved the following: the draft report on the 2024 year-end review and the plan for the implementation of tasks in 2025 for the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF); the draft report on the self-evaluation of the VFF Executive Committee; the report evaluating the professional work of the national football teams in 2024 and outlining key objectives and tasks for 2025; the financial and sponsorship report for 2024; and the report on the organization of the 2024/2025 National Professional Football Leagues and the proposed plan for 2025/2026.
Tomorrow, the 2024 VFF Annual Congress will be held at the VFF headquarters.
