Also in attendance were Mr. Lim Joong Yong – CEO of Incheon United FC, along with several officials currently working in the football sector in South Korea.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), President Trần Quốc Tuấn extended his congratulations to Mr. Park Hang Seo on officially assuming the position of Vice President of the Korea Football Association. President Trần Quốc Tuấn acknowledged and expressed deep appreciation for Mr. Park Hang Seo’s significant contributions to Vietnamese football during his tenure as head coach of the national team and the U23 team. He also expressed his belief that, with Mr. Park’s profound understanding of both Korean and Vietnamese football, he will continue to serve as an important bridge in fostering cooperation and development between the two football communities.

For his part, newly appointed Vice President of the Korea Football Association, Mr. Park Hang Seo, expressed his deep affection for Vietnamese football and affirmed that in his new role, he will continue to make efforts to contribute to the overall development of the sport. Mr. Park also shared that South Korea currently has many modern sports training centers, and the Korea Football Association is always ready to welcome Vietnamese teams for training camps to provide maximum support in preparation for major tournaments.

Also at the meeting, VFF President Trần Quốc Tuấn extended his thanks to Mr. Park Han Dong – President of the Korea University Football Association – for his meaningful visit to the Vietnam Football Federation, considering it a milestone that marks the beginning of a more comprehensive phase of cooperation between the university football communities of the two countries.

President Trần Quốc Tuấn emphasized that in recent years, university football development in Vietnam has seen many positive changes, particularly through two annual tournaments: the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament and the International Youth Student Football Tournament. The VFF hopes to continue receiving support, cooperation, and exchange from the Korea University Football Association in the near future, thereby contributing to the improvement of tournament quality and creating sustainable development resources for Vietnamese football.

The meeting made a new milestone in the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Korean football organizations. A key foundation for this growing partnership has been the comprehensive cooperation programs between the VFF and the Korea Football Association, which were first established through a formal agreement in 2018 and have continued to develop ever since.
