On the afternoon of November 7, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Vice President Trần Anh Tú visited and encouraged the Vietnam Women’s National Team after their training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
Vice President Trần Anh Tú shared that he had just attended the send-off ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Football Club as they prepare for the 2025/26 AFC Women’s Club Championship. He also expressed his wish to meet the national team before their upcoming training camp in Japan. The team is scheduled to attend a send-off ceremony on December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City before departing for Thailand to compete at the 33rd SEA Games.
VFF Vice President Trần Anh Tú emphasized: “The Vietnam Women’s National Team holds a remarkable record of eight SEA Games championships, including four consecutive titles. At this moment, the most important thing for the players is to stay fully focused on their professional preparation — all other matters have been taken care of by the coaching staff and the VFF.”
“Women’s football has brought great pride to Vietnamese football. I believe you will continue to break your own records at the upcoming SEA Games. When success comes, deserving rewards will surely follow. The most important thing is for the whole team to play with the Vietnamese spirit — with determination and the will to win,” Vice President Trần Anh Tú stressed.
On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Vice President Trần Anh Tú extended his best wishes to the team for a successful training camp in Japan, encouraging them to make thorough preparations in terms of fitness, tactics, and mentality ahead of their journey to defend the SEA Games title for the 33rd edition.
Earlier, on the afternoon of November 3, VFF President Trần Quốc Tuấn also visited and encouraged the team. During the meeting, President Trần Quốc Tuấn emphasized the importance of comprehensive preparation — both technically and mentally. The VFF will always accompany and provide the best possible support for the team to achieve their goals at the 33rd SEA Games.
