Vietnam eFootball national team qualify for FIFAe Continental Championship 2026
Vietnam’s eFootball National Team (Console division) has officially secured a place at the FIFAe Continental Championship 2026 after concluding their FIFAe Nations League 2026 campaign with a Top 3 finish in the regional Consistency Points standings.
The FIFAe Nations League 2026 was held over three competition weeks, bringing together national teams to compete for ranking points and qualification spots for the FIFAe Continental Championship, a key stage on the road to the FIFAe World Cup.
With thorough preparation and a determined approach, the Vietnam eFootball National Team steadily demonstrated its progress throughout the competition. The team’s strongest performance came in Console Week 3, where they advanced to the semi-finals, earning valuable Consistency Points to strengthen their position in the regional standings.
At the conclusion of the FIFAe Nations League 2026, Vietnam finished among the region’s top-performing teams, securing one of the five available qualification spots for the FIFAe Continental Championship 2026.
The achievement marks an important milestone for the Vietnam eFootball National Team in its first appearance in FIFAe’s official competition system, while also providing the team with an opportunity to continue competing at the continental level in pursuit of qualification for the FIFAe World Cup.
According to the schedule, the Vietnam eFootball National Team will now begin preparations for the FIFAe Continental Championship 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Malaysia from August 19 to 22. Further information regarding the tournament schedule and the team’s campaign will be announced jointly by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA) in due course.
