Second Leg of the 2026 National Third Division Football League Kicks Off: Dong Thap Strengthen Their Lead in Group B
The 2026 National Third Division Football League resumed on the afternoon of 27 October with the opening fixtures of the second leg. In Group B, Dong Thap maintained their impressive form with a 2-0 victory over STP Food Ho Chi Minh City, further strengthening their position at the top of the standings. Meanwhile, Hanoi Bulls and Van Xuan Dan Phuong both secured wins in Group A to keep pace with the leading teams.
In Group A, Hanoi Bulls secured a 1-0 victory over Ninh Binh Provincial Sports Training Centre II, thanks to Ngo Van Dung’s goal in the 45+1st minute. In the other match, Van Xuan Dan Phuong defeated Binh Dinh FC 1-0, with Nguyen Quoc Khanh scoring the only goal in the 89th minute.
Following these results, Hanoi Bulls and Van Xuan Dan Phuong are level on 10 points, ranking second and third respectively, behind Tay Mo. Hanoi Third Division FC sit fourth with 9 points, while Binh Dinh FC have 4 points and Ninh Binh Provincial Sports Training Centre II have 2.
In Group B, Dong Thap continued their impressive form with a 2-0 win over STP Food Ho Chi Minh City. Nguyen Cong Vinh opened the scoring in the 87th minute before Tran Phuc Thien sealed the victory in the 90+3rd minute.
An Giang claimed a 1-0 victory over Ho Chi Minh United, with Nguyen Van Vinh scoring the only goal in the 30th minute. Meanwhile, Dong Nai came from behind to defeat Khanh Hoa Sports Training and Coaching Centre 2-1.
With their fifth win in six matches, Dong Thap remain top of Group B with 16 points, three ahead of second-placed An Giang. Dong Nai moved up to third with 12 points, followed by STP Food Ho Chi Minh City with 9. Khanh Hoa Sports Training and Coaching Centre have 3 points, while Ho Chi Minh United are yet to get off the mark.
Round 6 will conclude tomorrow with the remaining Group A fixture between Hanoi Third Division FC and Tay Mo.
