Friendly match: Vietnam – Singapore

In preparation for AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 and Asian Cup Elimination 2011 (starting in Jan, 2009), Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Football Assosiation of Singapore (FAS) were made an agreement to organise friendly matches between two national football teams. Accordingly, the outward match will be held in Vietnam at My Dinh national stadium on 14, Oct, 2008 and the return one will taken place in Singapore on 26, Nov, 2008.

Previously, Vietnam national football team will compete at Ho Chi Minh Citiy international tournament, SJC – Eximbank 2008 with the attention of four teams: Myanmar, Turkmenistan, Korea Student national team and the host.
