The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has handed out a two-match ban to Dong Tam Long An coach Henrique Calisto and striker Nguyen Viet Thang

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has handed out a two-match ban to Dong Tam Long An coach Henrique Calisto and striker Nguyen Viet Thang for their role in a brawl against Binh Duong during last week”s V-League game.

Calisto and Thang will be forced to watch the team play in the next two games from the sidelines and will have to pay a fine of VND 3 million (USD 184) each.

Dong Tam Long An goalkeeper Fabio Dos Santos received a stern warning for his reaction against the referee.

Dong Tam Long An lost the keenly contested encounter 4-3 and after the final whistle referee Duong Van Hien was surrounded and pushed around by the irked coaching staff and players of Dong Tam Long An.
