AFC appreciates all PMAs for their dedication and support
Jun 16, AFC sent a letter to to extend their sincere appreciation to all Participating Member Associations (PMAs) for dedication and support in the successful delivery of the Centralised Matches. In the letter, AFC stated that:
“The Covid-19 pandemic has been the greatest challenge ever faced by the football fraternity, not only with its impact on the health and wellbeing of the public, but with the heightened travel restrictions and SOPs imposed by the various Governments. Despite this, all scheduled Matches have been successfully completed.
We also convey our appreciation to the Host Associations for ensuring a professional organisation despite the adverse circumstances, and for all the arrangements made to ensure and safeguard the health and wellbeing of all concerned throughout the Competition.
Once again, we have proven that football is the number one sport in Asia and have showcased its successful return to the continent under the spirit of unity and solidarity.
Congratulations to the 12 PMAs that have qualified for the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar (Final Round) and we wish the remaining PMAs all the best in your quest to qualify to the AFC Asian Cup China 2023”.
