AFC efforts to organize match-day 7 and 8 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in March 2021
According to the lasest information, AFC affirmed the effort to orgainze the match-day 7 and match-day 8 of the respective qualification groups to be played during the FIFA Window in March 2021.
To complete all MD7 and MD8 matches during the FIFA Window in March 2021, the PMAs are advised to start with the necessary preparations based on the attached schedule and proactively communicate with their respective opponents using, among other tools, the existing Match-by Match WhatsApp Groups on travel preparation and visa arrangements, including any restrictions or quarantine measures in place that would affect the delivery of the match in question.
As communicated in our letter dated 11 December 2020, please be reminded that should any of the matches in Round 2 not be completed due to unavoidable circumstances, the AFC will comlete all the matches by the deadline set by the AFC Competitions Committee, either in a Home & Away or Centralised format; the detailed guidenlines of which will be advised in due course.
The MD7 and MD8 will take place on Mar 25 and 30. Vietnam National Team will come to play at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the schedule in MD8. The team are having a big chance to keep moving on when we are on top of Group G with 11 points, followed by Malaysia (9 points), Thailand (8 points), UAE (6 points) and Indonesia (0 points).
