Bamboo Airways supports National Teams in all domestic and international flights
Bamboo Airway officially accompanies national teams in all flights of competitions and training in the 3rd period (2021 – 2024) as the Transportation Sponsor. The signing ceremony between VFF and Bamboo Airways was organized on the afternoon of Apr 19 at VFF’s house.

On the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism side had Mr. Hoang Dao Cuong – Deputy Minister; on behalf of the General Department of Physical and Sports, there was Mrs. Le Thi Hoang Yen – Deputy Director-General; on the VFF side, there were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – VFF Vice Permanent President, Mr. Le Van Thanh – Vice President, Mr. Cao Van Chong – Vice President, Mr. Le Hoai Anh – General Secretary, members of VFF Executive Committee, Heads of Function Departments, General Secretary Committee and leaders of affiliated units of VFF; head coach Park Hang-seo, head coach Mai Duc Chung, and national teams.
On the Bamboo Airway side, there were Mr. Dang Tat Thang – Vice Chairman of Broad, CEO of Bamboo Airway; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong – Deputy Director-General; Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai – Deputy Director-General; Mr. Bui Quang Dung – Deputy Director-General; and leaders of departments.
According to the contract, Bamboo Airway will provide the 5 starts service for national teams, as well as set up a special service for players and coaching assistants. Especially, the registration and baggage policy will be build to ensure the timeline of training and competitions.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that the cooperation with Bamboo Airway will create convenient conditions for Vietnamese Football including the plans of national teams for upcoming important missions such as World Cup 2022 Qualifier, AFF Suzuki Cup, AFC U23 Championship 2022, and SEA Games 31. This is also the chance for youth teams to have more training camps overseas. VFF believes that with the professional and friendly service, Bamboo Airway will be a part to support national teams in the journey of Vietnamese Football.
Mr. Dang Tat Thang argued that Bamboo Airway is very proud of being the sponsor and support for national teams. This cooperation shows the encouragement, support, and long-term orientation of Bamboo Airways for the national football teams in particular, and the Vietnamese sports in general. With an international route-network are extending very quickly and the modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the men’s national team will travel to UAE for the World Cup 2022-2nd Qualifier in a special aircraft.
At the press conference after the signing ceremony, Mr. Cao Van Chong was happy when Bamboo Airway supports the reporters who work with the national team. He also argued that for the preparation for World Cup 2022 Qualifier in UAE, VFF’s leaders also led the media department to support the reporters follow the guideline of AFC and host country UAE.
