On January 15, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Asian Cup 2023 Qatar, Mr. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, visited the “headquarters” of the Vietnam team. Receiving and working with Mr. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, on the side of VFF, there were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – VFF’s Vice President, Head of the Vietnamese Team Delegation and Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF’s General Secretary, team manager at the 2023 Asian Cup.
Head coach Philippe Troussier: “The Vietnam team will make every effort to get good results against Iraq”
Speaking at the press conference before the match with Iraq in the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup, head coach Philippe Troussier expressed confidence about the preparation of the Vietnam team.
