Vietnam national team and Jordan team had a draw in the friendly match in UAE
9 p.m (GMT+4) on 31st May, Vietnam national team had a friendly match with the Jordan team. This is the only friendly match of the Vietnam team before coming back to the World Cup 2022 Asia 2nd Qualifier.

After 1 week of training, on the afternoon of May 18, the national team and U22 team had 2 training matches in Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre.

On 10th May, U22 Vietnam gathered at Vietnam Youth Football Training. On the first day, all members of the team did the medical check and RT-PCR test to ensure the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic.

On 7th May, the National Team has gathered to prepare for the matches of FIFA World Cup 2022 Asia 2nd Qualifier. Due to the fast-changing of Covid-19, VFF has strengthened the prevention of the pandemic to ensure the safety and health of the team during the training period and competition in UAE.
Members of Vietnam National Team were vaccinated against Covid-19
On the morning of Apr 05, the members of the national team included leaders of the team, head coach Park Hang-seo, assistants, doctors, and officers were vaccinated against Covid-19. This is the priority of the Government for the members of the national sports teams who have international missions this year. The vaccination was taken at 108 Military Central Hospital.

On the afternoon of Mar 19, U18 Vietnam had the training match with Phu Dong FC at Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre. This was the only training match of the team in this 1st period.
