Long An kicks of 3rd league season

The Provincial League features 13 out of the 14 districts and is once again sponsored by Milky US. The teams taking part are: Ben Luc, Can Duoc, Can Giouc, Chau Thanh, Duc Hoa, Tan An, Tan Hung, Tan Thanh, Tan Tru, Thu Thua and Vinh Hung.
They are divided into two groups and play a double round-robin basis format, with top teams qualifying for play-offs.
The High School League has 48 teams from five districts competing for the Hai Son Cup 2009. After a series of stages, the top two teams face other at Long An Stadium in June.
Other schools competitions in Long An are the Senior High School League and the Primary School League.
Long An is one of three projects in the Vision Vietnam programme, along with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
