Coordination meeting ahead of the 2025 National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup
On the morning of September 3, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup held the pre-tournament coordination meeting with the participation of the tournament organizers, match commissioners, referees, and representatives of the teams.
04/09/2025 15:08:20At the meeting, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mrs. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – VFF Deputy General Secretary and Head of the Organizing Committee – expressed her gratitude to the Thanh Trì Commune Center for Culture, Information and Sports, as well as the PVF Center, for their continued support and cooperation with VFF in hosting football events in general, and women’s tournaments in particular.
Mrs. Nguyễn Thanh Hà also expressed her gratitude to the teams for their attention and proactive preparations for the tournament, while wishing all participants success in achieving their goals. On behalf of the host venue, Mr. Hà Anh Chiến – Director of the Thanh Trì Commune Center for Culture, Information and Sports – thanked the Organizing Committee and the teams, affirming that Thanh Trì Stadium will make every effort to organize the matches with a strong sense of responsibility, contributing to the overall success of the tournament.
The 2025 National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup features six participating teams: Hà Nội, Phong Phú Hà Nam, Ho Chi Minh City I, Ho Chi Minh City II, Than Khoáng Sản Việt Nam, and Thái Nguyên T\&T. The champions of this year’s edition will represent Vietnam in the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27. This serves as a strong incentive, making the title race even more competitive and intense compared to previous seasons. Ho Chi Minh City I remain the leading contenders, having successfully defended their crown for several years. The return of Huỳnh Như, who continues to showcase her qualities, alongside key players such as Chương Thị Kiều and Thu Thảo, further strengthens their squad. However, they will face fierce challenges from the emerging young generation of Phong Phú Hà Nam and Than KSVN, as well as the experienced and mature lineups of Hà Nội I and Thái Nguyên T\&T, who are ready to pose serious tests.
This is also the 14th consecutive year that the National Women’s Football Championship has received sponsorship from Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Co., Ltd. as the Title Sponsor. This longstanding partnership serves as an important source of encouragement and motivation, reflecting the strong commitment and significant, consistent contributions of the Title Sponsor to the development of women’s football in Vietnam.
To serve fans nationwide, 7 matches will be livestreamed on the VFF Channel YouTube platform, while 16 other matches will be broadcast live on the OnFootball sports channel of VTVcab. According to the draw results, in the opening round on September 4, Thái Nguyên T\&T will face Than KSVN, Ho Chi Minh City II will take on Ho Chi Minh City I, and Hà Nội will clash with Phong Phú Hà Nam.
