Before coming to here, I thought we should join Gamba in the hunt for goals against Da Nang. However, looking at my team”s match schedule the next two weeks, I changed my mind at the last minute. That was why I just took 14 players, most of which were youngsters, to Vietnam. Playing against Da Nang is the best chance for my young players to gain match experience.

We have nothing to worry about ahead of our next match in Japan. If we beat Gamba, goal difference will no longer be a burden for us. I think we can overcome Gamba because we defeated them 3-2 in the first leg at home.

Tran Vu, Da Nang coach

I am happy with the final score and my players” performance. They have tried their best. It is a relief that none of my players today got injured. That is truly the good news as we will have important match against Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the V-League this Saturday.
