Binh Duong, now on 48 points, have a unassailable 13-point lead over second-place Hoang Anh-Gia Lai, and even if they were to lose their next four games and Gia Lai win theirs, Binh Duong would still take the title.
Meanwhile, at Hang Day Stadium, Hoa Phat-Hanoi beat Halida Thanh Hoa 2-1.
In the 21st minute. Van Hien co-ordinated with Anh Cuong in the right wing to open the score for hosts Hoa Phat-Ha Noi.
Hanoi”s Hong Viet score the second in the last seconds of extra time in the first half.
In the 82nd minute, Hanoi”s Van Luu fouled Thanh Hoa”s Amakuro in the penalty area, and striker Tien Thanh pulled one back for the visitors from the penalty spot.
In other matches yesterday, Huda Hue lost to Ha Noi ACB 2-3 at Tu Do Stadium, while Khataco Khanh Hoa drew 1-1 to Sai Gon Port-Southern Steel at Nha Trang Stadium.
At Vinh Stadium, TCDK Song Lam Nghe An drew 1-1 with Da Nang.
