Decision on stopping and not continuing to organise the national professional tournaments 2021
Pursuant to the report No. 277/VPF-TCTD dated September 13, 2021, of the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) on the report proposing to stop and not continue to organise the national professional football tournaments in 2021; Pursuant to Resolution No. 257/NQ-BCHLDBDVN dated September 23, 2021, of VFF Executive Committee on stopping and not continuing to organize the national professional football tournaments in 2021, VFF officially announces as follows:
24/09/2021 09:52:39Stopping and not continuing to organise the national professional tournaments 2021 due to the effect of COVID-19 included: V.League LS 2021 (from round 13), V.League 2 LS 2021 (from round 8), Bamboo Airway national cup 2021 (from the round of 16) with the conditions follow:
1. Not recognizing titles according to the Regulations at the V.League LS 2021, the V.League 2 LS 2021, and Bamboo Airways National Cup 2021;
2. The promotion-relegation pressure is not applied at the V.League LS 2021, the V.League 2 LS 2021, and Bamboo Airways National Cup 2021;
3. Based on the professional results of the clubs until the end of the 12th round of V.League LS 2021 to report to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in determining the Vietnamese representative to attend the AFC club tournaments in 2022 based on the current AFC licensing standards.
VPF and the National Professional Football League’s Executive Board are responsible for implementing, stopping, and discontinuing the organization of national professional football tournaments in 2021 in accordance with the provisions of VFF.
