The Cong win under-17 friendly tournament

The Cong won the under-17 friendly tournament/ Number One Active Cup, which ended in Nam Dinh on July 30.

The newspaper reported that The Cong won the tournament, also featuring Phu My Nam Dinh, Laos and Germany’s Red Star, with five points after three games.

Phu My Nam Dinh finished second with also five points but they were led by The Cong on goal difference.

In the final matches on July 30, The Cong drew 1-1 with Red Star, while Phu My Nam Dinh failed to beat Laos, drawing 1-1.

Laos finished third and Red Star were fourth.

The organising board awarded Phu My’s Hoang Nhat Nam as the Player of the Tournament and Laos’ Kita Souksabai as top scorer and Phan Truong Mike as best young player.
