Dong Nai, PVFC Song Lam Nghe An to compete for under-19 title

Dong Nai and PVFC Song Lam Nghe An will compete for the title of the under-19 football championship in the final on June 29, reported Vietnam Sports newspaper.

Dong Nai beat ACB.HN 2-0 in the first semi-final while PVFC Song Lam Nghe An beat Phu My Nam Dinh 5-4 in penalty shootout.

Dong Nai continued their impressive run at the tournament. Quoc Thinh”s two goals on 77 and 88 minutes sent them to the final.

Meanwhile, PVFC Song Lam Nghe An and Phu My Nam Dinh competed in the so-called early final of the tournament. Phu My Nam Dinh were unlucky with Thanh Luan finishing against the crossbar after 35 minutes.

The match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes and Quang The missed in shootout, handling the victory to PVFC Song Lam Nghe An.
