In groups with different numbers of teams, results against the bottom-placed team in the larger groups will be excluded when comparing the records of third-placed teams, ensuring an equal number of matches are taken into account.

According to the competition regulations, if the host team of the final round finishes among the 11 best teams in the qualifiers, the remaining berth will be awarded to the next best third-placed team.
