56 referees, assistant referees in the South pass the fitness test
As part of the mid-season training plan for the 2022 national professional football tournament, on the morning of September 17 a fitness test program for Referees and Assistant Referees in the South region was held at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC).

In this mid-season training in the South, the total number of referees and assistant referees attending was 58 people. Before starting the fitness test, the Referees and Assistant Referees did the medical test. Through the initial examination, 2 assistant referees of the national league were not eligible to participate: Assistant referee Truong Hoang Phuc (under treatment for Covid-19), and Assistant Tran Van Truong (due to high blood pressure). 56 qualified referees, assistants have all completed the fitness test under the close supervision of the members of the organizers of the training class. Among the referees attending this round was the return of assistant Le Nguyen Nguyen Thanh. Mr. Thanh was not on duty in the first period of the V.League due to an injury at the beginning of the season.
After completing the fitness test, the referees and assistant referees will continue to undergo other lessons in theory and practice in real situations to improve their knowledge and learn experience for the next rounds of the 2022 season.
The Southern Referee and Assessors training class will end on September 18. Next, the Northern Referee and Assessors Training Course will be held from September 19 to September 21 at VFF’s house (Hanoi).
