On the afternoon of January 7, the Hanoi People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor and reward coaches and athletes who achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hoang Dao Cuong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director General of the Vietnam Sports Administration; and leaders of Hanoi City. Representing the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu attended the event.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today announced a new multi-year media rights partnership with Viettel Group, appointing the company as the Official Media Partner for a wide range of the AFC’s national team and club competitions in Vietnam, with the agreement coming into force and effect from January 1, 2026.
